What we collect, and why.
the-pdf is a small landing page validating demand for headless React hooks. We collect as little as possible, and only to gauge interest and reach you at launch.
Who processes your data
- PostHogCookieless product analytics: which pages and snippets get attention, so we can decide what to build.Data: Page views and anonymous interaction events. No cookies, and no consent banner is needed. Identity is kept in memory for the session only.EU Cloud (Frankfurt). Events are proxied through this domain.
- Netlify DB (Neon)Stores your waitlist email so we can notify you once @the-pdf/react ships, and any feedback you send through the feedback widget.Data: The email address you submit to the waitlist and the message text you type into the feedback form.A Postgres database hosted by Neon, accessed through Netlify.
- sessionStorageA random session id is stored in your browser to link your waitlist signup with any feedback you send in the same visit.Data: A random identifier. It is not a cookie, holds no personal data, and is cleared when you close the tab.Stored only in your own browser.
Unsubscribe
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also send us a message through the feedback widget at any time to ask us to remove your email from the waitlist.
